Valentine's Day Polka Dot Half Moon Nail Art
Hi everyone! I know I am always so late to come up with holiday themed manicures, so I figured I would get an early start with Valentine's Day and come up with some fun nail art looks for you guys. Today's look is a super simple polka dot manicure with a half moon accent, using all polishes from the Color Club Love Tahiry Collection, which I got from HB Beauty Bar.

Ikat Skittle using BornPrettyStore Studs... And A Giveaway! (3 Winners!)
Hi guys! Today I've got this super cute ikat skittle to show you:
To achieve this look, I started with a base of Essie Serial Shopper on my outer two nails, Essie Urban Jungle on my middle nail, and KBShimmer Eclipse on my ring finger. Then, I drew the ikat design with my new Simply Spoiled nail art pens (in black and white), and a bit of Essie Serial Shopper. I topped the outer two nails with these holographic studs from Born Pretty Store. (See below for a giveaway, sponsored by BPS!)
I love these studs because they're super flat on the nail - I was able to easily top them with top coat and they didn't pop off at all! And, having the nail art pens made is easy to create this ikat design without dirtying a bunch of nail art brushes.
This color scheme was actually inspired by an ikat print on a pair of pants my coworker wore today, but on the nails, I think it reminds me of a tiger. I just love ikat designs because they can really be done in any color.

Cool Gradient with Blue Neon Studs
I recently got some sponges for doing gradient nails, and I've been practicing a lot! Today's manicure is more of that practice -
I started with a base coat of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, which is a cool toned white. Then, I sponged on China Glaze That's Shore Bright, China Glaze Tart-y For the Party, and ORLY Snowcone. On my detail nail, I painted Essie Licorice.
Then, I mattified it and added some 2mm neon blue studs from Born Pretty Store. You can find them here, and use the code RFL91 at checkout for 10% off your entire order.

Stamping and Studs with OPI Bogota Blackberry
When I picked up this gorgeous cool toned red nail polish from OPI, I knew I had to stamp with it.
OPI Bogota Blackberry is the perfect cranberry red shimmer. This manicure might be suitable for Christmas, haha! But I love it.
I used ORLY Soul Mate as a base for my stamping, and then stamped on with Borgota Blackberry and plate BM 305. Of course I had to mattify it!
I love the way this color looks mattified - almost velvety! I also applied silver studs from Born Pretty Store - you can find those here. Use the code RFL91 at checkout for 10% off your entire order!
This stud formation was inspired by this gorgeous New Year's manicure by Spektor's Nails. She really is creative with applying studs!

Nautical Stripes and Studs
Ahoy there! Today's manicure is nautical! I have been so into this theme lately.
I used a base of Essie Rock the Boat, which has a lovely silver shimmer (you can see it in the bottle.) I taped it off with some striping tape and used Konad Red and Julep Char.
Then, I took some of my 2mm round studs from Born Pretty Store and stuck them onto my nail with top coat. (You can get 10% off your BPS order if you use the code RFL91 at checkout!)

Neon Nail Studs and Zebra Print
Today's manicure features some adorable blue neon nail studs from Born Pretty Store, the best online store for nail art accessories and polish.
When I was sent these studs for review, I decided that they would go well with some funky zebra print! I used Julep Claire and Essie Blanc for this simple and fun manicure.
These studs are flat 2mm circular pieces, and they come in several different colors, including pink and yellow! I chose color #4, but there is also a darker shade of blue available. These studs are even reusable! I just soak them in nail polish remover to get the residue off, and store them to use again!

Neon Roses and Studs.. and Some Different Photos
Today I would like to show you something I did loosely inspired by hannvjk's beautiful flower manicures. However, I am home for the weekend and since I just purchased a new camera (a Canon 60D, which is actually what I filmed my tutorials on!) I decided I'd try it out. This is my first time trying to take nail photos with it, so be nice!
I decided to use some of the neons from the China Glaze Sunsational collection (my review here) and give it some contrast by painting my other nails black and using square studs from Born Pretty Store.
I actually really like the way these photos look, but I know there's not as much detail as when I take photos using my little point-and-shoot camera with my lightbox! I guess I need to play with the settings more, and practice to get used to this big camera!

So when I went to my local Sephora this weekend and I saw that Nails Inc sells their Leather Effects polishes in several different colors now! I picked up a pale blue called Dalston and decided to make some nail art and pair it with these circular studs I got from Born Pretty Store to review.
Unfortunately, my camera doesn't like studs so I had to take photos with my phone!
The leather effect polish is so cool! I found that it does not work if you use base coat, and of course, if you want the effect to be textured like leather, you can't use top coat either. Shown is two thin coats on each nail. Originally, the leather polishes were available in kits with studs for $25, but you can get the polish alone in any color for $11.
My ring finger started with a couple coats of black, and then I taped it off to add a stripe of Nails Inc Dalston and topped it with some studs.
