I started with a base of China Glaze At Vase Value, and then sponged on China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, Wait N Sea, and I Sea The Point, as well as KBShimmer Eclipse at the very edge. Then I topped it all off with top coat to smooth out the design! (Even though I used more colors, I still used the technique from my recent gradient tutorial.)
The colors didn't blend as seamlessly as I had hoped, but I think the effect looks great from slightly farther away! I think the middle shade did get lost in the muddle, though. Maybe next time I will leave off the black - I think that darkened the whole look of the manicure.
