I started off with a base of KBShimmer Eyes White Open on my first two nails, and China Glaze UV Meant to Be and China Glaze Plur-ple on my other nails. I took those same polishes to create a grungy brushstroke effect on my white nails, and added some studs from Born Pretty Store. I topped everything off with matte top coat.
Check out this quick tutorial for how I created this look.
I actually love how these brushstroke nails turned out - they almost have a watercolor splatter effect to me! And I think the iridescence of the rhinestones match the color scheme perfectly.
I think the best part of summer is having super bright, fun manicures - don't you? I have plenty of new nail art to show you using my new summer collections! (And plenty of swatches, too - this collection will be swatched soon!)
Just because I though the rhinestones were so pretty and reflective, here's a shot of them. You can purchase this set here!
Here are the polishes I used!
What do you think of this look? Have you tried any shades from the Electric Nights Collection yet?

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh thanks so much for finding it! I updated the links now :)
ReplyDeleteLove your brushtroke nails ! Also I love how the reflects of the rhinestones match the colors you chose tu use :D
ReplyDeleteIn love with the matte finish, hun! And your brush stroke does looks 'wet', I wouldn't say like 'watercolor splatter', more like the polishes were somehow diluted rather (does that make sense?) - love it!
ReplyDeleteIs there a video tutorial??
ReplyDeleteI love the brush stroke design. Really have to give it a try sometime. Can't wait to try the Electric Nights Collection.
ReplyDeleteThey totally reminded me of watercolours too! I love the effect! Gorgeous gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the brush stroke effect! It looks so different from when I dried it a while back! I agree it looks like watercolor spatter! How cool!!

ReplyDeleteREALLY love this combo! Your brush strokes turned out perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis color combo looks so dreamy and I love the addition of studs and how the have to purple and blue iridescent to them (kinda matching the polishes) :) I love simple designs like this! I think I have to try the brushstroke again.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE dry brush manicures like this...and the rhinestones are the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love the colors and the little rhinestone accents bring it all together.
