KBShimmer Fall 2014 Collection, Part 2: Swatches and Review

Hey guys, I finally have the second half of the KBShimmer Fall 2014 collection to share with you! A few weeks ago, I showed you all the first half of the collection of cool toned polishes, which consisted of three creams, a holo, and a crelly. This half - the warm tones - has three crellies, a holo, and a glitter topper.

As you can see, this half of the collection definitely has a distinct autumn (and Halloween!) feel to it. And of course, the formulas are great (as is expected of KBShimmer!) Let's take a look:

We'll start with Kiss and Spell, the glitter topper of the collection! This polish features purple, lime green, black, and orange glitters in various shapes and sizes, most notably stars. I definitely love this glitter for Halloween! Shown above is one and a half coats dabbed on over Hugs & Wishes (reviewed here) with top coat.

Jack is actually a limited re-release for Halloween - it's a fully opaque black crelly with orange and sparse black glitters in various shapes and sizes, including shards and mini bar glitters. I love how this black is completely opaque, but the orange glitters still shine through! This polish is perfect for the holiday, too. Shown above is three thin coats with top coat.

A Raisin to Live is a raisin purple colored crelly loaded with holographic silver hex glitters. This polish is beautiful! I didn't think I would like this warm toned purple so much on my nails, but I ended up falling in love, especially with the holographic sparkle. There is a ton of depth to this polish too! Shown above is three thin coats plus top coat.

Leaf of Faith is a deep red jelly packed with tons of red, orange, and gold hex glitters, as well as some smaller holographic hex glitters. I love this color for fall, but I found that the extra large glitters experienced some slight curling, so you might need to double up on top coat. Shown above is three thin coats plus top coat.

And finally, we have Rust No One, a slightly dusty linear orange holographic polish. The color accuracy in the photo above is slightly off - I think the photo came out a bit more vibrant and red toned than the polish is in real life. But the color is very pretty nonetheless, and it's a nice color to wear during autumn! Shown above is two easy coats plus top coat.

Overall, I am really liking these colors, especially the three crellies. I am really impressed with the theme of this collection - sometimes I find that one or two colors in any collection don't feel like they belong, but this entire collection fits together really nicely. All of these polishes are available from the KBShimmer online shop. The polishes above are all $8.75 USD each. Don't forget to follow KBShimmer on Facebook and Instagram for news and updates.

And of course, you can find my Instagram page here, where I will also be posting all of my swatches!
