HB Beauty Bar OPI Coca-Cola Collection Swatches and Review

So, today's post is a bit delayed, as these polishes came out earlier this summer, but I really feel like these polishes are more appropriate for fall, so I wanted to hold off until the end of the season to show them off!! The collection I am speaking of is the OPI Coca-Cola Collection, a collection of nine polishes in varying finishes, from creams to glitters. I got this set from HB Beauty Bar, which is my favorite place to get mainstream nail polishes for a low price.

This collection was in collaboration with Coca-Cola products, and each shade is representative of a different soda. And let me tell you, these polishes did a great job reflecting those soft drinks! You'll easily be able to tell which polishes go with each drink. Anyway, let's get started:

You're So Vain-illa is a gorgeous beige/nude cream with yellow undertones. I think this might be my favorite of the collection, if only because it is so versatile for nail art! I think this is a great beige to rock during the fall, since it does look a bit darker. Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

Sorry I'm Fizzy Today os a medium pink cream that borders on the dusty side. This photo seems to be a big brighter than the polish is in real life. Another great formula, shown above is two coats with top coat.

Coca-Cola Red is a classic cherry red cream, and a perfect color to add to your collection for any time of year! Not only is the color just gorgeous, but it is fully opaque in one coat! I added a second, for the sake of consistency, and top coat.

Get Cherried Away is described as a "black cherry", but I think of it as more of a dark orchid. Another gorgeous polish, and another one coater! This color is perfect to wear for the transition into fall. Shown above is two coats (for consistency) and top coat.

A Grape Affair is a gorgeous dark eggplant purple cream with a slightly jelly-like formula. I will never get tired of colors like these! I love this one. Shown above is two coats with top coat.

Today I Accomplished Zero is a black jelly base loaded with mini red glitters. This polish is very similar to OPI Stay The Night from their Liquid Sand collection last year, but it doesn't dry to a textured finish (and the glitters are darker!) I really like that I didn't have to layer this one over black - it was fully opaque in just three easy coats, and of course I added top coat!

Green on the Runway is a shimmery green duochrome with a slight brownish purple shift. This is definitely a unique polish to add to my collection, and it definitely reminds me of a can of Sprite! Another great fall color, too. This polish tends to be a bit streaky, so careful application is a must. Shown above is two careful coats with top coat.

My Signature is "DC" is a classic silver foil. If you don't have one in your collection, this is the silver foil you need - like some others in this collection, it's fully opaque with just one coat, and the formula is totally easy. I did apply two coats though, for consistency, with top coat!

And finally, we have Orange You Fantastic!, a glitter topper with gold, orange, and red metallic glitters in a slightly yellow tinged base. This would be awesome for a glitter gradient, and it reminds me of the colors of fall. I layered two coats over Coca-Cola Red, with top coat! This glitter dries to a slightly matte finish without top coat.

Overall, I am really satisfied with this collection, and I can see myself wearing any of these colors this fall. My top picks are You're So Vain-illa, Get Cherried Away, A Grape Affair, and Green on the Runway.

All of these polishes are available from HB Beauty Bar for $9 USD each, or $72 for the whole collection. Don't forget to use the coupon code POLISHCHALLENGE at checkout for 15% off your entire order!

  1. Flawless swatches Kelli! I really want to get You're So Vain-illa. I love the Coca Cola Red one too but I rarely wear reds so I should probably resist the urge hehe.
