Ocean Wave Nail Art With KBShimmer Nail Vinyl Decals

Hi guys! I did this nail art a while ago and I have been so excited to share it with you guys, but my computer has been running so slowly that it took me forever to edit! The weather has finally been getting warmer here in NJ, so I figured I would celebrate with some bright and fun ocean nails, using my KBShimmer scalloped nail vinyl decals.

To achieve this look, I started off with a base of KBShimmer Eyes White Open. Once that was dry, I placed my first decal on the lower third of my nail and painted the bottom ocean layer with Color Club Factory Girl. Once that was dry, I carefully placed the other two decals and painted on KBShimmer Sky Jinks. I decided that the white space was too big from the decals, so I lightly filled it in on all nails to make the lines thinner. Then, I painted the top layer with KBShimmer Stonewashed and topped everything off with matte top coat from Born Pretty Store.

I am so in love with how this mani turned out! Although the lines aren't perfect, the idea came out exactly as I had imagined it in my mind, and I think the color scheme is so bright and summery.

I absolutely love the scalloped nail vinyl decals, too. They gave me such clean and crisp lines (which I promptly ruined by going over them, haha!) so I definitely plan to use them again for a different style of nail art.

Here are the polishes I used for the above manicure. The KBShimmer shades are available at their online shop, as well as the nail vinyl decals. The Color Club shade is from Live Love Polish (I am pretty much obsessed with this perfect blue!)
