With several inches of snow on the ground in New Jersey today, a snow day at the office for me, I figured it was the perfect time to do a neon water marble on my nails! I decided to try out the I Scream Nails collection for today's water marble, since the colors look so nice together, and I think it turned out really well.
It's definitely been a while since I did any water marbling, so there's no real consistency here, but I like the funky pattern it created! I started with a base of Cuccio Verona Lace and water marbled with I Scream Nails Juicy Juicy, I Scream Nails Sunny Boy, I Scream Nails Bubblegum Bang, I Scream Nails Grape Soda, and I Scream Nails Blue Heaven. I topped everything off with glossy top coat!
I made a quick video tutorial here.
I am extremely impressed with how well these polishes marbled! They were super easy to use and they spread very evenly. Plus, the colors just look so nice together! (I didn't use the green polish in this collection because it has a shimmer finish and I wasn't sure if it would marble correctly.)
Perfect manicure for a snow day, right?! Haha!
I do love water marbles but they can be a pain to do and clean up - I always use scotch tape to minimize clean up around my nail, though!
Here are the polishes I used (I forgot to put the white base in the photo!)
What do you think of this look? How's the weather by you?
