China Glaze Road Trip Collection, Part 1: Road Trip Ready

Hey guys! I'm pretty excited about today's post - I was lucky enough to receive the entire China Glaze Road Trip Collection from Live Love Polish! I've divided the collection of twelve polishes into two posts, and today I am happy to show you the "Road Trip Ready" half of the collection, which consists of six beautiful spring shades! (You can see my swatches of the second half of the collection here.)

Out of these six polishes, three contain a subtle rose gold shimmer, and the other three are glossy cremes. As is expected of China Glaze, the formulas were wonderful! The colors are definitely perfect for the upcoming season - who doesn't love pastel shades in the spring? Anyway, let's get into it:

First we have I Brake for Colour, a pinky red creme. Bright reds like this are perfect for any time of year, and this one had an incredible formula! It was almost a one coater. Shown above is two coats with top coat.

Pinking Out the Window is a beautiful salmon pink creme. This one had a jelly-like formula, and was a bit sheer with the first two coats, but its so glossy and pretty! Shown above is three thin coats with top coat.

Pack Lightly is a gorgeous soft peach pastel with a beautiful rose gold shimmer. I absolutely love this shade! The color is so classy and the subtle shimmer really caught the light perfectly. This one also had a jelly-like formula. Shown above is three thin coats with top coat.

Wanderlust is a pastel lavender with a rose gold shimmer. Look at how the shimmer catches in the light! This is another stunning color with a jelly-like formula. Shown above is three thin coats with top coat.

Boho Blues is a flawless periwinkle blue creme. Seriously, I could wear this color for the rest of my life and be happy - it's just such a pretty shade! This polish is opaque in two coats, but you're looking at three coats with top coat above.

Finally, we have Dashboard Dreamer, a pastel blue with a subtle rose gold shimmer. What a perfect color for spring! I really love the added shimmer in these polishes - I think they add an extra something to the color, and they just look so pretty in the light. Shown above is three thin coats with top coat.

Overall, I am really loving this collection so far! China Glaze has been coming out with consistently beautiful colors and these are no exception. My favorites are Pack Lightly, Boho Blues, and Dashboard Dreamer. (I reviewed the second half of the collection here.)

These polishes are currently available at Live Love Polish for $7.50 USD each, and you can use the code INEEDMORENAILPOLISH at checkout for 10% off your ENTIRE order!

Are you planning on picking up any of these beauties? What's your favorite color to rock for spring?

  9. Kelli, I just bought 6 of this collection yesterday when I "happened" to be at Ulta. I had a 20% off my total order coupon and on the sales slip, each polish was listed as costing only $6.00. Yay for bargains!
