Roses and Stripes

Today's nail art is another attempt to use acrylic paint - which is a great tool for more detailed nail art.

I only used white acrylic paint to draw the shape of the flowers; the rest is painted with nail polish. I started with a base of OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! on my middle and ring finger and a base of Essie Butler Please on my pointer and pinkie finger. Then I used Essie Blanc, China Glaze Dance Baby, Essie Bottle Service, and China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard.

I think this is different from my usual nail art but I like it! I know the flowers aren't perfect but I like the way they look, too!

What do you think of this nail art? What kind of nail art would you like to see?

  1. Love both designs, if I had done it for myself I would have probably done one designs an accent.
(I'm a bit OCD about accent nails, it always has to be next to the pinky finger lol.)

I also absoluteness love the Essie Blanc you recommended, definitely going to be buying more of their range.

    Really nice Mani!
