Easter Nail Art: Chevron Chicks

- PROVIDED FOR REVIEW -

Hey guys! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far. I have a quick and easy nail art look to show you today for Easter - something I've seen a lot of artists do, but just had to try for myself as well because they are so cute!

To create this hatching chick manicure, I started off with a base of KBShimmer Eyes White Open. I topped that with top coat, and once it was dry, I placed some chevron nail vinyls from Whats Up Nails and painted the middle with KBShimmer Chick Me Out (which unsurprisingly is the perfect polish to paint a chick!) Then, I used a small paintbrush and I Scream Nails Sunny Boy to draw the beak, and KBShimmer Eclipse and a dotting tool to make the eyes. I made small white dots in them with a toothpick! And of course, everything was finished off with matte top coat.

I love these little chicks! The chevron vinyls worked perfectly to make it seem like a hatching egg, and I think this is definitely an adorable look for Easter. One good thing about "cutesy" nail art like this is that the lines and dots don't have to be perfect - because each chick has its own little look!

I feel guilty procrastinating so much on doing springy nail art, but I promise more will be coming soon! This is probably the only Easter look I will have though. I did do some matzoh nail art for a family gathering today, but I think it's a bit too sloppy to post to the blog (although you might get a behind-the-scenes look at it on my personal Instagram page, if you are interested!)

Here are the polishes I used. Check out the links below for buying information!
