KBShimmer Early Summer 2014 Collection, Part 3: The Textures

Hi all, I'm very excited about today's review of the KBShimmer Early Summer 2014 textured polishes. You may remember my swatches of the holos and the creams from the past couple of weeks. Well, today's polishes are very special because they are the first textured polishes that KBShimmer has ever released!

These textured polishes come in three bright, summery colors and have a "bumpy" finish, a trend that has completely taken over the nail polish world! Personally, I love the textured style - it's so unique! Anyway, read on to hear what I think of these polishes:

Let's start with my favorite - Partners in Lime, a lime green textured polish packed with holographic blue, green, and gold glitters in various sizes. This color is so bright and funky, and I love the rough finish. The formula was easy to work with and I got full opacity in two coats, as shown above.

Next we have She Twerks Out, a gorgeous aqua blue textured polished filled with holographic  blue, purple, and green glitters in various sizes. Again, great formula and the color really stands out, especially with the gorgeous combination of glitters! I love it. Shown above is two coats.

And Finally, we have Too Pop To Handle, a warm purple textured polish filled with holographic purple, red, pink, and blue glitters in various sizes. This one was more sheer than the other two, and I think a third coat might have made the polish really pop, but I think the effect still looks nice. Shown above is two coats.

I am impressed with KBShimmer's first try at textured polishes! I was surprised to find that the formulas were not thick at all, and super easy to work with. I will definitely be rocking these colors this summer!

So that's it, the full KBShimmer Early Summer 2014 collection. Which do you like best - the holos, the creams, or the textures? Personally, I'm most fond of the creams, but I really love Partners in Lime.
