Zoya Summer 2014 Bubbly Collection Swatches

Hi everyone! I have been so behind on swatching lately, but I finally had time to sit down and swatch the new Zoya Summer 2014 Bubbly collection, one of two new collections that Zoya has released for this season. It features six gorgeous iridescent shimmer polishes in various colors.

They are all somewhat sheer, but can be layered for opacity. The formula, as is usual for Zoya, was slightly thick but easy to apply. For all of my swatches, I chose to paint two thin coats. But you'll read more about them individually:

Muse is a rich ocean blue with a green duochrome shift, packed with gold shimmer and iridescent holo glitters. This was definitely my favorite of the collection - it reminds me of a sunny day at the pool :) Shown above is two thin coats.

Binx is a dark pinkish purple in the bottle, but on the nails it looks like a hot pink packed with golden shimmer and iridescent holo glitters. Another perfect summer color! I definitely found that I liked this more on the nail than in the bottle, it's so tropical! Shown above is two thin coats.

Harper is a lighter bright pink polish, also filled with golden shimmer and iridescent holo glitters. This one was unique in the collection because it reached opacity no visible nail line in just two coats (as shown above), and I really love the color.

Jesy is a sheer orange with golden shimmer and irridescent holo glitters. I found that it didn't look great with my skin tone, but I think it would be gorgeous layered over a more opaque orange polish for that pop of color. Shown above is two coats.

Alma is a orange-gold polish in the bottle, but on the nails it is a warm golden color packed with iridescent holo glitters. This is a true summer color! I don't usually find that these yellow-golds match well with my skin, but I loved this one. Shown above is two coats.

And last but not least, we have Staasi, a green filled with gold shimmer and iridescent holo glitters. This was another very sheer one, and I think I would like it more layered over a more opaque polish, but I do love the color! Shown above is two coats.

As much as I am loving neutrals for spring, I am thrilled to see some bright fun colors for warmer weather. I loved them in the bottle, but seeing that they were shimmers, I figured the formulas would be tough, but I was glad to find that they were all relatively easy to apply. I really like these polishes for summer, and I think they catch the light beautifully. I don't think it's necessary to own them all, but I think Muse and Alma are must-haves for the season! Which are your favorites?

All of these polishes are currently available on the Zoya website and in stores that sell Zoya, for $9 USD per bottle, or for $54 USD for the entire collection. Don't forget to follow Zoya on Facebook for news and promotions!

These polishes were provided for my honest review.
