Purple OPI Striping Tape Nail Art

Hi guys! Today I have a funky striping tape manicure inspired by this tutorial I saw on Instagram. I decided to go with a purple color scheme because I thought it might look Valentine-y, but it doesn't really (but it's still cute!).

I started with a base of OPI You're Such A Budapest on my outer two fingers, and OPI Glints of Glinda on my two middle nails. Then, I taped off sections and painted with OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Miss You-Niverse, and OPI You're Such A Budapest. The polish had started to dry so I went in with a detail brush and fixed up the edges.

I love the way this came out, even though it was frustrating to create with the striping tape. I love having a sheer polish as a base for striping tape nail art, because it looks like the pattern is over my naked nail!

What do you think of this funky design?
