Some Stamping Practice

I haven't done any serious nail stamping for a while, so I decided to break out the kit and give it a try.

I used OPI Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs as a base, and stamped with plate BM316 using Essie Good as Gold. Even though Good as Gold is super pigmented, I find that it's really hard to stamp with because it dries so quickly!

I think I should get back into stamping, because I won a $25 giftcard to Bundle Monster (where most of my plates are from!) and I'm thinking of buying another set! These sets are great because you get so many varied plates for around $20 - whereas with Konad, you're paying almost $7 for just one plate.

Expect to see some more stamping practice, and don't worry, I still have big surprises planned for the blog!

And don't forget, I finally made a Twitter! Get sneak peeks, news, press releases, contest info and much more:

  3. Just a suggestion....are you putting a coat of clear between your base color and your stamp? The reason I ask is because I found that by doing so, it really grabs the image off the stamp and you don't have to worry so much about the dry time of the stamp image. Give it a try! ;)
