Nail Foils with Born Pretty Store

I know, two posts in one day! Well for those of you who want to enter my giveaway with Born Pretty Store, stay tuned because you can buy these awesome nail foils if you win! (And even if you don't, you can still get them and other nail art accessories for super cheap using my discount code RFL91 at checkout for 10% off!)

Anyway, here's the awesome manicure:

To achieve this look, I used some awesome nail foils from Born Pretty Store, which you can find here, product 5361, in lots of different color choices (I chose number 2, which is this pretty holographic gold.)

I used a base of Essie Licorice, which my awesome sister gave to me (among others) for my college graduation present ;)

So how do I get this look?

First, you paint your nails with a base coat, color and top coat. When the top coat is DRY but only a tiny tiny bit tacky, you place the nail foil at random spots facing up, and it will peel off on your nail. :) Anyone want a video tutorial? I just got a new camera!

It comes in this container which has a LOT of foils, I've done it a few times to try it out (you can also do full nail foils with this product, but you need nail glue!)

I messed up the middle finger because I worked too fast!

Anyway, here is a link to the Born Pretty Store. They have free shipping worldwide!

UPDATE: I created a video tutorial for these nails! You can view that below or click here.

I'd love to see the tutorial because I just bought a nail foil and I don't know how to use it correctly :(

  2. Surprisingly I really like this look! Foils have been around quite a bit on the blogosphere, but I often find them too overloaded or just too untidy. This, on the other hand, is something I would actually wear! Have you tried doing a full nail? Because I've heard that that is quite difficult.
