I Scream Nails: Collection Swatches + Review

I am so excited about today's swatches! I Scream Nails is actually group of nail artists based in Australia, who work not only in salons but also paint nails at various events (they actually do some amazing nail art) - and now, they've got their own line of gorgeous polishes! Today I'm showing you their line of six bright, beautiful shades that come in adorable ice cream cone shaped bottles.

I know, I know - I can't get over how cute these are, either. When I first got these in the mail, I figured they were such an exciting novelty item with the bright colors and the funky shape that the polish inside had to be pretty lame, right? WRONG! I was shocked at how impressive these polishes were! Application was a breeze, and these neons applied like any other high quality creme - not to mention, they were all practically opaque in just one coat. I am finding myself completely obsessed with not only the packaging and adorable bottles, but the colors and the formulas as well. Let's take a closer look:

Bubblegum Bang is a gorgeous neon hot pink creme. This is such a classic color and a must have in anyone's collection, and you've probably already seen me use this polish a few times. This polish was almost opaque in just one coat! Shown above is two coats and top coat.

Sunny Boy is a neon orange creme. This polish reminds me of an orange creamsicle, which is appropriate considering it's in an ice cream shaped bottle! I don't think the above photo is totally color accurate - I would say its a little lighter and pinker than shown above. You're looking at two easy coats with top coat.

Lately, I have been so loving yellow cremes, and this bright neon is no exception! Juicy Juicy is a pale neon yellow creme and it's absolutely flawless. Seriously, I am in love with this color! It is so hard to find a light shade like this with a nice formula, and this one applied perfectly. Plus, it's just so cheerful! Shown above is two coats with top coat.

Mint Madness is actually different from all the other shades in this collection because this neon green has a shimmery finish. It's hard to tell in the above photo because this polish is so bright, but it does apply a bit streaky, and a careful hand is necessary to keep it looking smooth and pretty! I also found this one to be slightly thicker, but almost opaque in one coat. I applied the first coat for opacity, and a thin second coat to even out my brush strokes. Of course, it really wasn't too much effort, and it is SO worth it for this super bright lime green! Doesn't it make me look so tan?! Shown above is two coats with top coat.

Blue Heaven is a super soft, creamy blue pastel shade with a flawless formula. Isn't this color just so beautiful? I can see myself wearing this anytime of year, and this shade is perfect for using in nail art (but then again, this entire line of polishes is actually perfect for nail art!) Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

And finally, we have the gorgeous Grape Soda, a pastel neon purple creme. Colors like this are my absolute favorite on the nail, because they somehow manage to be both pale and so bright at the same time. Does that make sense? Either way, I'm in love. You might remember this polish from my recent advanced stamping manicure! I actually have a couple of polishes that are similar to this shade, but they all have very chalky formulas. Unlike those, this one was practically opaque in one coat, self leveling, and super shiny, even before top coat. Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

Overall, I am seriously happy to have this collection in my possession. Not only are the polishes adorable, but the colors are perfect and the formulas are flawless! For those of you wondering, it's actually quite easy to paint with the cone shaped bottle caps - and the brushes are wide and flat for even easier application.

These shades are currently available to Australian customers only for $14.95 AUD, on the I Scream Nails website. However, they will soon be available internationally! (I will definitely keep you guys posted on when that will happen.) In the meantime, follow their Instagram page to check out the adorable manicures that these amazing nail artists are coming up with, and to stay updated on their product news!
