Taped Chevrons! With Dollish Polish

Hey guys, I had to cut my nails super short due to a tragic break, so try to keep an open mind for the next week! Haha!

So today's manicure is one I've been imagining since I won Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum from Chorubim's instagram giveaway. It had been delayed because I really wanted to incorporate chevrons into the manicure, but I couldn't find chevron scissors anywhere! So I gave in and bought a giant pack of a bunch of patterned scissors just so I could have the chevrons ;P I'm sure you'll see more tape patterned manicures soon!

I used a base of Essie Blanc for all four nails, and then topped the outside two with two coats of Expecto Patronum and the middle two with China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle.

Expecto Patronum is a gorgeous milky white jelly polish with different sized turquoise hex glitters scattered throughout. I love the way white jelly glitter polishes look, and this one is no exception! It applied flawlessly and required no fishing. You can get this polish and others from Dollish Polish here.

The chevrons, however, were a bit harder! This was my first time doing a crazy tape manicure, so there is definitely room for improvement. But I like the way it looks!

  2. Your mani is really cute. Even your chevrons came out great. I would not have known this was your first chevron tape mani.
