Today's V-Day themed manicure is a pink Ikat print. I used Kayla Shevonne's tutorial to help me out:
It was surprisingly easy to do! I used China Glaze Designer Satin and Seduce Me for the pink, and the white and black was done using Finger Paints striping tools.
It's not perfect, but that is the beauty of Ikat print - it doesn't have to look symmetrical!
Would you rock this for Valentine's Day?
This is a lovely ikat! Never tried it myself, it's on my to-do list
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's definitely easy, you should try it.
DeleteThis looks even better in real life! I'm just browsing through the archives & I'm kind of amazed by your creativity and the precision that you need in order to paint like this. This is really cool!
