To achieve this look, I started off with two thick coats of China Glaze Innocence, a gorgeous pinky nude. Once that was dry, I sponged on Floss Gloss Dimepiece, which is a holographic silver microglitter. I wanted a bit more bling, so I carefully placed some holographic silver hex glitters from 100% Pure Studio 54. I topped everything off with a glossy top coat!
I absolutely love the finished look of this one! I did a really similar delicate gradient almost two years ago, and I remember thinking it was a perfect look for a wedding. (Looking back on that manicure, I'm pleased to see significant improvement in my photography and painting skills! Haha!)
I also really love this base color! I have really been digging nudes and sheer shades on my nails lately. But I promise, I have some more daring looks planned for this series as well - although most of them will probably include a nude polish as well!

ReplyDeleteLove that base color! Have you ever tried Julep polish? They have a glitter topper that would look great with Innocense. It's called Yumi: http://www.julep.com/shop/nail-polish/yumi-it-girl.html
