Glam Polish Limited Edition Masters of Illusion Collection Swatches

- PROVIDED FOR REVIEW -

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend - I got to spend some time with my family, which was a lot of fun. Anyway, I've got more new polishes to show you today! This time it's the latest from Glam Polish, who just released a limited edition collection called Masters of Illusion, which consists of nine sparkly polishes with a multichrome effect. I've got four of them to show you:

This collection is divided into two parts - three sparkly glitter-packed holographic shades, and six color shifting shades. I have two from each to show you. The formulas on all were fabulous! I found that the color shifting shades reached full opacity on their own, but if you want to really see the color shift, you might want to layer them over a dark base. Anyway, let's get into it:

Escape Artist is a silver based holographic shade with blue flakies, holographic microglitter, and iridescent glass flecks. This is part of the color shifting half of the collection, although I didn't see as much of a color shift as I saw a ton of sparkle! (But again, layering this over black might have a different effect!) I loved how this one looked on its own, and it was fully opaque in two coats with top coat.

Death Defying Acts is the other color-shifting shade I received for review. It's a fuchsia toned holographic base packed with pink flakies, holographic microglitter, and some intense iridescent glass flecks. The color shift in this one was very obvious! In some lights it looked purple, and in others, it took on a greenish gold tint (which you can almost see in the edges of the bottle!) Shown above is two coats with top coat, but again, you can layer this one over a base for a more intense effect.

The Prestige is a super pale lavender holographic shade loaded with holographic microglitter. I love how delicate and pretty this one is! I really liked the opacity after two coats, but if you have longer nails, you might need a third. Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

And finally we have Catch Me If You Can, a blue holographic base backed with holographic microglitter and silver flakies. The flakies in this one make it so pretty and unique! It definitely has a wintery vibe to me (which makes sense because Glam Polish is based in Australia, and our seasons are flipped) but I can see myself wearing this one any time. Shown above is two easy coats with top coat.

Overall, I definitely enjoyed these shades! I think the color shifting ones are pretty unique, and seeing other swatches, I think I prefer them on their own instead over a base. But either way, they are beautiful, and so are the super sparkly shades.

These polishes are available from Glam Polish for $11 USD each. International customers, make sure you read up on their shipping policy or see their list of international stockists.

Which of these is your favorite?
